The Hekath are a force of biological weapons keen on assimilation, seeking organic life only to consume and integrate it into themselves. They do not negotiate, take prisoners, or leave survivors, any being possessing DNA is killed on sight. Despite their mindless hunger, some androids have demonstrated the ability to communicate with them, though no clear motivation or purpose has ever been understood. Hekath remains reveal a truth of their nature, they do not simply devour, they evolve, incorporating the genetic traits of their prey into their own flesh. Their origins are unknown, the only current security is they do not invade in greater numbers.
